Mount Fuji - Japan

Fuji is the highest mountain of Japan. Although this mountain has remained clam since 1707 but still it is declared as the mountain of Active Volcanoes 
There is an old temple named as Murayama Sengen Jinja. It was built 1000 years ago that is why it is  belief of Japanese People That Mt. Fuji is directly connected to God. There are five lakes near the mountain,

  Lake Kawaguchi

  Lake Motosu
  Lake Sai

  Lake Shōji

  Lake Yamanaka

Tourists also visit these Lakes  whenever they go to Mt. Fuji
